Christian Social Formation

Inspired by the Spirituality of Saint Madeleine Sophie

A Legacy of Love and Achievement

Saint Madeleine Sophie, a woman ahead of her time, left us an invaluable legacy. Her educational vision, deeply influenced by her spirituality, reminds us that educating is a work of love and achievement. Faithful to the Spirit and with a forward-looking perspective, Madeleine Sophie responded to the world’s needs with an open heart and profound relationships, shaping her pedagogy.

Our Mission Today

At Mater International Institute of the Sacred Heart, we continue the work of Saint Madeleine Sophie, connecting hearts with the Heart of Jesus through education. We promote a formation where faith and reason nourish each other, firmly believing that our students, by becoming people of faith with compassionate hearts, will develop the skills and discipline to become committed leaders—both to themselves and to their communities.

Christian Social Education

Our approach to Christian Social Education focuses on developing the essential virtues that enable students to embark on a path of discernment, realize their full potential, and act with social awareness. We aim to form empathetic thinkers committed to compassion and justice.

  • Personalized Guidance: Supporting and guiding each individual throughout their educational journey.

  • Foundational Instruction: Considering instruction as a core pillar of education.

  • Family-like Environment: Fostering a sense of family, relationships, and community.

  • Faith-Based Education: Providing education rooted in faith, with strong and continuous formation for all educators.

The Charism of Saint Madeleine Sophie
